The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 前半段确实有些拖沓。后半段几乎是泪流满面看完的。跟自己对于中国电影行业的失望和质疑还有疫情对于行业的负面影响有很大关系。作为78岁的新人，如果能在电影院中死去，也许是电影人最后的荣耀吧！敬电影之神！

对电影如此满怀热忱的男主因为一次意外就直接放弃精心打磨的剧本我实在不能理解…到最后还在说淑子当初选错人了我真想锤爆他的头！！

几个年轻人聚在一起讨论电影的时候简直在发光，让观众有代入感，算本片亮点。老头获奖以后情节就魔幻起来，最后的死法很造作。
